Apply for Affiliates
Oh yay! We're going to have another affiliate! But before you apply, please make sure your site fits the following regulations:
- Your site needs to be neo-related in some way or have a substantial amount of tutorials if it's not neo-related
- Your site must not have any stolen artwork or content
- Your site must not be under construction
- Your site needs to be updated a least once per fortnight
- You must not be an affiliate with a site in our Wall of Shame
- Your site must contain less than 3 broken links
- Your site must not have any adult content or rude language
- Your site must have at least 15 pages of original content (staff pages, outside links, etc are not included)
- You need to have an 88x15 button
- Your site needs to have at least 20 unique visitors per day
- Our button needs to be either pending or already on your affiliates list
- Each Graphic page must have 3 or more graphics
Once you have checked that your site is in tune with the above rules, fill out the following information and send it to polarjennifer[at]yahoo.com (swap [at with @) ^^ Please make sure I can reply, because if I receive a failure notice, then I'm deleting your application straight away. Even if you fit all the regulations, you may be turned down if I see little/no effort put into your site.

It's as easy as that! Once we have replied and confirmed your application, we'll put your site button on our site, and vice versa. Please make sure that you move our button from your Pending section after our acceptance.
All our affiliates with less than an average of 100 unique hits daily will be put in the scroller. This is simply fair. Sorry, but having a domain name will get you no special notice from us as we would be giving you the same advertising status as you would be giving us, if not more. Your hits will be monitored by us through your topsites, or if you are not registered with any, we will take a rough estimate from the visitor activity on your site.
Staying our affiliates
It's all good to apply and get accepted, but here are a few things you must do in order to stay our affiliate:
- Update at least once a month. I know some people are busy and can't reach their computers from wherever they are - I understand. But if your site has not updated for more than a month then your button will automatically be taken off.
- Any hiatus must be explained and progress must be shown. Any hiatus that takes more than 1 month without explanation will be taken as your site closing down and your button will be removed.
- No stolen content whatsoever. If you've taken off any stolen content during the period of applying to be our affiliates but have put it back up after we've accepted, then your site button will be taken off immediately and you will be reported.
- Your site must have our button up at all time. If, for any reason, our button is not on there, you must contact Jen and explain why it is not there. If there are no explanations, your button comes right off.
- You must keep your average daily unique pageviews above 20. This is just to ensure that your site remains active.
It's not much to ask for, so please keep in mind these things before you apply because they will be enforced the minute your button is added.
