Secret Lab Ray
The Lab Ray is an experimental creation by a mad scientist. He claims it is not complete, hence the regularly bad effects the Ray produces, but Neopets and owners may try it at their own risk. You can zap any one of your pets once per day for as long as you want.
Before you can get access the Lab Ray, you need to collect all nine pieces of the Secret Laboratory Map. This can be quite difficult as the nine pieces all have the same name and cannot be distinguished as different pieces when searched on the Shop Wizard. I would recommend using the trading post to find the individual pieces you need. Be careful when buying as all the pieces have slightly different prices, be sure to shop around before settling on each piece.
When you have all nine pieces in your inventory, go to the Treasure Maps page, click the "Lab Map" button, and pool in all the pieces. You will not get the pieces back once you get access to the lab ray.
